  1. Encourage Others To Go Generous -

See this now as a basic part of our lives. Church members (St Paul’s Cambridge) have taken the Hippos, next door neighbour is looking into changing his investments to ethical, have set up a local generous group who will be doing a special event this christmas – watch this space!

  2. Make A Special Effort To Look Out For Strangers -

It is embarrassing filling this bit in but for the sake of the project here goes. We have befriended a woman in her 60s who is in a wheelchair and has been for 35 years, following a horse riding accident in Argentina. – she was in the diplomatic service at the time. She only has the use of one arm and no leg use, but she has a very agile mind. We take her to Anglesey Abbey for a walk and lunch regularly; we visit her and take her stuff regularly; we whell her to events at the church and we listen to her very long and rambling telephone calls regualrly. Big deal, we have very privileged lives, so doing this frankly is nothing.

  3. Make A Positive Lifestyle Change And Tell Us About It -

healthy eating, home cooking – me!, changed all in vestments, changed bank to Co-op, all the plastic bag stuu, water off doing teeth (only have a few left), blood doning, being nice to people everyday, all the time – Jules already doing this, Mart learning. Looking out for God – believe he works with us on earth through synergy, makes everyday very exciting…...

  4. Use your LOAF at the shops (Local, Organic, Animal-Friendly and Fair Trade) -

B No longer go to supermarkets, pretty well always shop locally – can do this because we can afford it and Mill Road is 50 yards away, packed with international shops.

  5. Give Something Away - and declutter your life -

Been through all my clothes – sallie army shop up the road got what I didn’t like/need any more.Really like what I am left with – feel like a very groovy 58 year old…...

Jules sorted out all the crap cupboards and again the sallie took the brunt

just started on the books….bit of a problem here as I feel covetous….

  6. Slow Down, Calm Down (Stick to the speed limit) -

I have 9 points on my driving licence….

I drive 25,000 miles a year for my job so this is a big issue

really trying, frankly have no choice but it is so hard.

So many speed limits seem so utterly random – one minute 50 then 30 then 50. If you are having a good converstation in the car,.....

Your thoughts and prayers are welcomed for me here
