  1. DIY vegetables! -

At last, we have staked out a vegetable plot in our garden and are just finding out how much ex railway sleepers cost in order to make a raised bed.

  2. Start A Generous blog or journal -

I’m already keeping a journal as part of my doctoral research into awakening collective will in response to climate change. I’m beginning to see how the living generously project is an example of building collective will so recording my own actions and responses seems both like a good idea and a contribution to research. It’s currently a black book into which I enter reflections, readings, poems and pictures. Wouldn’t it be good if this site had a blogging facility as well.

  3. Use your LOAF at the shops (Local, Organic, Animal-Friendly and Fair Trade) -

Going to supermarkets far less also has additional benefit of reducing packaging waste. Our district is soon to introduce fortnightly collection of waste so we are already practising reducing the amount we put out.
