  1. Give Your Unwanted / Unworn Clothes To Charity -

This is an action where everybody wins! YOu get wardrobe space, someone else gets some lovely clothes that will actually fit them, and the charity gets a donation! How good can it get!

Now I need to work out what to do with my unewarable clothes that are too raggy for the shop, but seem a waste to throw out!

Perhaps we could try and commit to buying a percentage of our clothes from charity shops as well?

  2. Recycle Your Inkjet Cartridges -

Hooray for the useful links on this page! After having an empty cartridge float arounsd on my desk for a month with no recyclable home to go to, it’s now winging it’s way to the Oxfam scheme. Thanks!

  3. Volunteer Locally With The Homeless -

I run drumming workshops for a living, so I’m about to go and do one for the local Simon Community! I’ll let you know how it goes…

  4. Give A Gift That Keeps On Giving -

I’ve ordered a loo, a goat, and an allotment for my immediate family, and I’ll be interested to see how they’ll be received… they’re not normally into this kind of thing so much, so I’m a wee bit worried – I feel like I might get them a smaller gift (such as a book) as well so they’ve got something for themselves too.

  5. Pass On Those Unwanted Gifts -

I try and have a ‘one in, one out’ policy at home, so if I’m given, say, a new jumper (and already have perfectly nice old ones), something has to wend its way to the charity shop!

I’m doing ok with clothes and household stuff, but still find it hard with books and music….

  6. Buy Ethical Palestinian olive oil -

I was in Glasgow’s One World shop today, and they had it in stock, yippee! Had to get the nice tall man to get it down from the high shelf for me though…

  7. See An Inconvenient Truth. -

I saw it last week, and it was just the kick I needed to sign up for green electricity.
