  1. Compost Your Leftovers -

I loved the news item about composting preventing identity theft as all our shredded paper goes in the compost bin, partly for that reason but partly to bulk out the compost a little.

I’ve got a worm bin too which has taken a while to get going but I got very excited this morning when I noticed that some liquid had finally dripped out of it – oh dear, sad is that!

  2. Encourage Others To Go Generous -

I’ve recently handed out the Generous bookmarks (from Greenbelt)at church and have arranged for anyone interested in being ‘Generous’ to meet for lunch in Birmingham City Centre. Not sure who’ll turn up but I’ll keep you posted…

  3. Ladies: Consider a mooncup! -

I’m not sure I’m ready to use a mooncup, but my compromise is to use organic tampons and washable pads. wrt washable pads it’s definitely worth spending a little bit more on organic cotton as they’re so much softer than the ‘normal’ ones; both types are softer than disposable panty liners etc!
