  1. Have A Fairly Traded, Ethically Sourced, Especially Tasty Dinner -

I had a fair trade party with a few friends , we all just brought some fair trade food and drink. It was brilliant we made a huge cake out of all the items ang gorged! We calculated it was about 1800 calories a slice.

    Fat full fair trade cake.

2 packets of chocolate cookies (traid craft)- you crush these and melt some butter with this to make a biscuit base.

co-op FT choclate cake- cut up and layer on top of biscuit base.

*Divime chocolate 2 bars or more- melt pour on top and let it harden.

  2. Shop locally -

My mother buys as much organic food as she can, mainly veg canned stuff, pasta, yogurts. We still need to improve on buying food from local shops, we do get local eggs though. I’ve got my parents to only but FT coffee and tea we get the FT bananas and I buy as much FT as poss, so there is a good excuse for eating choclate.

  3. Buy Presents That Make A Difference -

This Christmas I only brought fairtrade presents and those funusual gifts from oxfam. There are plenty of fair trade mags to buy gifts from. Givinga a fair trade food hamper is a good present to give someone, just get a box or basket and fill it with FT food.

  4. Turn Off The Tap When Brushing Your Teeth -

Same with the majority done it since i was little

  5. DIY vegetables! -

We have are own allotment, we have had many berries, potatoes, sweetcorn, runner beans, peas. and in the garden carrots, garlic, more potatoes, apples and shallots. Yummm

  6. Recycle Your Stuff -

Our council have now given us a small bin so we now put our rubbish we cant recycle in the the small bin and recyclable stuff in the big bin, well done Bournemouth council!
