Something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, this gave me the push to do it.

  2. Use your LOAF at the shops (Local, Organic, Animal-Friendly and Fair Trade) -

I’ve tried organic veg box schemes but didn’t really like not knowing what I was going to get. Despite not living in the country I’ve managed to find a farm shop near work, myself and a colleague go their every Friday lunchtime and stock up on our fruit and veg.

  3. Stop Taking Plastic Bags From Shops -

I try so had with this, but often it’s not till I’m standing in the queue waiting to pay that I remember my bags are at home or in the boot.

I’ve seen somewhere that does a fold up bag made out of old parachute silk which you can attach to your keyring, may have to look into this further.

  4. Turn Off The Tap When Brushing Your Teeth -

I can’t belive there are people that don’t do this – why?

  5. Choose to have one meat-free day a week in your home -

Nice easy one seeing as I’m veggie.

  6. Buy A Copy of Change the World for a Fiver -

Bought this one Christmas for my friend (but cheekily read it first). Have just got their new book about changing the world between 9 to 5.

  7. Take A Mug To Work - don't use plastic -

When we have training at work we are meant to use the disposable cups as they’re easier to clear away at the end of the day. I keep annoying people by swapping them over to proper mugs.

  8. Slow Down, Calm Down (Stick to the speed limit) -

I’ve not been driving long so am still very aware of sticking to the speed limit. Sometimes when you’re going along at 30 you can tell that everyone behind you is really impatient for you to get a move on but i just think about the above radio advert.

  9. Ladies: Consider a mooncup! -

I wouln’t be without mine now, it’s fantastic

  10. Get A Free Home Energy Report: Save Two Tonnes of C02 (and £250!) -

Just told me what I already know, things like get double glazing, buy a more energy effecient fridge/freezer etc, but I still can’t afford to do this
